This weekend was at our Annual Family Camp in Chefoo Methodist Centre. At one of the sessions, Wai Ling, our coordinator gave us time to meditate over certain issues that she raised. We were given some time to think through the issues. I sat down beside the stream that was running by the building that we had our sesssions and I started to write. The end result was this poem, if you call it one.
Sweet memories of grace
Showered my soul
Keeper of my soul
I cry out to You.
My life an empty box
My journey's an endless list of events
But yet I am a Christian
A cross I carry with me.
Would I forgive my brother
And share life with him
Would I hold his hand
And walk with him
This journey is only the begining
Not my will but Yours be done
